Music From Big Pink

Music From Big Pink

Music from Big Pink stands as one of those rare albums that turned the rock world on its axis. On this record, released in 1968 at the height of the psychedelic revolution, the five members of the Band (along with producer-sideman John Simon) eschewed spacey diversions, opting for an earthier route. Soon enough, wah-wah pedals and tape loops were making way for fiddles and mandolins. The group’s most democratic effort (Robbie Robertson would soon emerge as the ensemble’s mouthpiece), the debut’s

Looking for a drummer, they met Nick Jago, from Devon,England. Black Rebel Motorcycle Club was originally called The Elements, but after discovering that another band had the same name, they changed the name to Black Rebel Motorcycle Club. The vocals are shared between bassist Robert Levon Been and guitarist Peter Hayes.

Nasir bin Olu Dara Jones (born September 14, 1973), who performs under the mononym Nas, formerly Nasty Nas, is an American rapper and actor. The son of jazz musician Olu Dara, he was born and raised in the Queensbridge housing projects in New York City. Although he dropped out of middle school, his debut album Illmatic, released in 1994 by Columbia Records, was critically acclaimed and would go on to be widely hailed a classic in the genre. Nas was part of hip-hop supergroup The Firm, which released one album. From 2001 to 2005, Nas was involved in a widely publicized feud with rapper Jay-Z; both rappers verbally attacked each other in their songs. The two formally ended their rivalry through duet performances at concerts sponsored by New York City-area hip-hop radio stations. In 2006, Nas signed to Def Jam, releasing his albums Hip Hop Is Dead in 2006 and an untitled album in 2008.

In 1994, Nas’s debut album, Illmatic, was finally released. It was awarded Five Mics from The Source. About.com ranked Illmatic as the greatest hip hop album of all time, and Prefix magazine praised it as “the best hip-hop record ever made”. Columbia Records began to press Nas to work towards more commercial topics, such as that of The Notorious B.I.G., who had become successful by releasing street singles that still retained pop-friendly appeal. Nas traded manager MC Serch for Steve Stoute, and began preparation for his second LP, It Was Written, consciously working towards a crossover-oriented sound. It Was Written, chiefly produced by Tone and Poke of Trackmasters, was released during the summer of 1996.

Los Angeles Bike Accident Attorney – When You Need One

Los Angeles Bike Accident Attorney – When You Need One

Every day thousands of bikes cross the streets and bike paths of Los Angeles. Here in sunny California, people bike both for exercise and as a means of transportation. In a county with poor public transit, if you canâ??t afford a car, sometimes a bike is the best alternative. But biking has its downside here in Los Angeles. Itâ??s not a bike-friendly town with bike paths being a relatively recent innovation. But drivers here are not in the habit of watching for bikers either. Subsequently, serious Bike Accidents in Los Angeles â?? collisions between bikes and cars â?? has become an all-too frequent tragedy here.

Any Los Angeles Bike Accident Attorney is all too familiar with the aftermath of such Bike Accidents. When car and bicycle collide, the bicyclist gets the worst end of the deal. Unprotected by anything but a helmet, a bicyclistâ??s injuries can be terrible and have a long-lasting impact on their lives. Who is at fault when a car and a bicycle collide? Sometimes thatâ??s difficult to say. Was the driver negligent? Inattentive? Did the bicyclist take a chance he or she shouldnâ??t have? Was the bicyclist following the law? These kinds of questions are best sorted out by Bike Accident Attorneys in Los Angeles who know the law and can sort out blame. Insurance companies (generally policies of the carâ??s driver) will attempt to settle a claim without a Personal Injury Attorney present. But be aware, if you are involved in such a Bike Accident in Los Angeles, only an experienced Los Angeles Bike Accident Attorney can help you get compensated fairly for the medical bills and continuing therapy you may require after such an accident.

Britney Spears Concert Ticket Information

Britney Spears Concert Ticket Information

Britney Spears goes all out with a show full of extravagant costume changes, fantastic dance moves and unbelievable acrobats, some that are very revealing which adds to the excitement.

A few fans didn’t appreciate Britney’s lip-synching so many of the songs, but others came to her defense saying they came to see her dance more than anything. Every review I read mentioned her amazing dancing routines. I got the impression that for her fans, just being in her presence is a dream come true. She has the it factor, for sure. It’s nice to see people focusing more on her success rather than the bad stuff from the past.

Tickets for Britney Spears can be pricey for good seats. In my experience, buying from Ebay sellers gives you more choices and better seats for a lower price. I like that I can communicate to the seller before making a purchase and there’s customer feedback that tells a lot about the sellers customer service history. Ticket prices for Britney Spears tickets are ranging and up.  Here you can find your best Britney Spears tickets from trusted sellers on Ebay: Best Deals on Britney Spears Concert Tickets

Sublime with Rome is a collaboration between Eric Wilson & Bud Gaugh of Sublime and Rome Ramirez. Vocalist and guitarist Rome Ramirez had previously performed with Wilson and Gaugh occasionally, including YouTube’s Raw Session and an attempted Sublime reunion. It became clear that Ramirez would not be replacing Sublime’s lead singer and guitarist, Bradley Nowell, who died in 1996.

Sublime was an American reggae fusion band from Long Beach, California, formed in 1988. The band’s original line-up consisted of Bradley Nowell (vocals and guitar), Bud Gaugh (drums and percussion), and Eric Wilson (bass guitar). Lou Dog, Nowell’s dalmatian, was the mascot of the band.
